Ordering
Online orders can be made using the Shopping Basket process.
Offline orders can be placed by telephone, fax or by post.
Prices
All products are priced per each in £ (GBP).
Value Added Tax
Value Added Tax (VAT) will be charged at the current rate and added for all UK & EU delivery addresses.
EU, (non-UK) customers can place VAT Free orders offline by stating their local VAT Number.
Payment
Online secure card payment is processed through Google CheckOut or PayPoint who are endorsed by all leading banks.
Offline card payment can be made by telephone or fax, by cheque to our address or by wire transfer to our bank.
Wire transfer payment required for export to non-EU countries.
A service charge will be added for credit account orders.
Despatch
All orders are usually despatched within 2 working days from date of receipt.
For next day delivery please contact us by telephone.
Carriers
UK shipments are sent via Royal Mail, Parcelforce or FedEx UK.
Export shipments are sent via Parcelforce Worldwide, UPS or FedEx International.
Receipt of Goods
We recommend that all orders be signed for as "Unexamined".
If there is apparent damage to the packaging, this should be stated on the carriers receipt.
Orders should be inspected immediately following delivery and any discrepancy must be reported to us within 24 hours by telephone, email or fax.
Failure to comply with this procedure will result in any claim being refused by the carriers.
Warranty
All products* supplied by us are supported by the manufacturers' guarantee for a period of 12 months on a full repair or replacement basis.
* Laserliner (Cross, Line & Rotary Lasers only) and SmartTool products are all guaranteed for an extended period up to 2 years.
* Leica Disto products are guaranteed for an extended period up to 3 years.
Any product, subject to normal use found to be faulty during the above periods, may be returned at the buyer's expense for inspection and report under warranty claim.
Prior notification of any return must be agreed.
A goods return reference number and a return delivery address will then be issued.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancellation & Returns
Rights reserved to make a handling and restocking charge of 25% for goods returned if ordered in error or no longer required.
Subject to:
1. Prior notification received within 7 days of delivery.
2. Goods returned at the buyer's expense are received unopened, in original packaging and unused.
Charges will also be made, if applicable, for the Credit Card charge and the Shipping cost.
Liability
Consequential loss resulting from the use of any product supplied by us will not be accepted.
General
Rights reserved to amend prices and specifications without notice.
Goods are supplied in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Goods supplied remain the property of Laser Level Shop until paid for in full.
