Laser Level's Terms and Conditions of Sale

Terms & Conditions of Sale
Laser Level Limited, trading as Laser Level Shop Online (the Seller) offer goods and services via the website: laserlevelshop.co.uk.

Customers (the Buyers) by ordering online or offline from the website agree to accept these Terms & Conditions.

Ordering
Online orders can be made using the Shopping Basket process.

Offline orders can be placed by telephone, fax or by post.

Prices
All products are priced per each in Pounds (/GBP).

Handling & Delivery Charges
Delivery Free - England, Wales & Scotland (Lowlands), Zone 1.
Delivery Extra - All other areas, Zones 2-7.

Value Added Tax (VAT)
Laser Level Limited VAT No: GB 769 6119 84

VAT will be charged at the current rate and added for all delivery addresses, with the following exceptions:

VAT will be refunded for orders paid by card or PayPal from the Channel Islands and the R of Ireland.

VAT will be Zero (0%) rated for all export orders.

Payment
Only cards issued by UK or Irish banks will be accepted.

Online credit/debit card payments are securely processed by SagePay or by PayPal.

Offline payments can be made as follows:

1. Card by Telephone or fax.
2. Direct payment to our PayPal account: laserlevel@aol.com
3. Electronic transfer to our bank account: Sort Code: 60-24-77 Account: 17994667

Electronic transfer payment is required for all export orders.

Following receipt of a specific export enquiry, a proforma invoice/quotation will be sent with our bank details.

All orders will be confirmed by email following receipt of payment in full.

Card Security
All card payments are processed by SagePay with 3D-Secure v2, authentication by "American Express SafeKey", "MasterCard SecureCode" or "Verified by Visa".

Customers' card issuing banks will request a passcode or password to verify the card holder.

Despatch & Delivery
All orders are usually despatched within 2-3 working days from date of receipt.

Delivery is scheduled for working days only.

For next working day, Saturday or a specific time delivery, please contact us by telephone to confirm availability.

An aditional Service Charge will be applicable for this order.

Collection available from our London warehouse by prior arrangement.

Delivery to a 3rd party address (eg a building site) will be at the buyer's risk.

Carriers
All shipments are sent via our routeing using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Hermes, DHL, DPD, FedEx or UPS.

Full tracking details are available for all shipments.

Receipt of Goods
We recommend that all orders be signed for as "Unexamined".

If there is apparent damage to the packaging, this should be stated on the carriers receipt.

Orders should be inspected immediately following delivery and any discrepancy must be reported to us within 24 hours by telephone, email or fax.

Failure to comply with this procedure will result in any claim being refused by the carriers.

Warranty
Applies to electronic, digital and laser instruments only and not accessories, (ie tripods, staffs, receivers, battery chargers, etc).

All the brand instruments supplied by us are supported by the manufacturers' guarantee on a full repair or replacement basis, as follows:

Fukuda - 3 years
LaserWorks - 1 year
Levelsure - 1 year
Nivcomp - 5 years
Rion - 1 year
SmartTool - 1 year
Spot-On - 1 year

Any brand instrument, subject to normal use, claimed to be faulty during the above period, may be returned at the buyer's expense for inspection and report under a warranty claim.

Prior notification of any return must be agreed.

A goods return reference number and a return delivery address will then be issued.

If found to be faulty it will be repaired, replaced or credited.

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Damaged goods will not be accepted as a warranty claim.

Repair and Recalibration
Please contact for repair and recalibration information.

Cancellation
Orders cancelled prior to shipping will be subject to a 10% or minimum 10 Cancellation charge.

Returns
Orders returned as not required, or ordered in error will be subject to a 25% or minimum 25 charge, (for handling and re-packaging).

The above condition subject to:
1. Prior notification received within 14 days of delivery.
2. Goods returned at the buyer's expense are received unopened, in original packaging and unused.

Charges may also be made for the Credit Card fee and the Shipping cost, if applicable.

A technical inspection and re-calibration charge may also be incurred if found to be necessary.

Used or damaged goods will not be accepted.

Exchange
Orders may be exchanged for an item of higher value as an alternative to cancellation or return charges. (details upon request).

Liability
Consequential loss resulting from the use of any product supplied by us will not be accepted.

The suitabilty of products recommended for specific applications are offered without prejudice.

General
Rights reserved to amend prices and specifications without notice.

Goods are supplied in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Goods supplied remain the property of Laser Level Limited until paid for in full.

Goods are supplied subject to acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Data Protection
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

You are legally entitled to request details of the personal information which we hold about you, under the UK's Data Protection Act 1998.
